The ancient town of Norcia, also known as Nursia in English, is nestled within the Italian province of Perugia. At the centre of Piazza of San Benedetto stands a monument honouring the Christian Saint Benedict—a reminder of times gone by. The right-hand side of the livewebcam.cam displays the town hall alongside the site of the once formidable 12th-century Basilica and Monastery, which was unfortunately destroyed in 2016’s earthquake. An effort to restore the monastery has been undertaken by the Monks of Norcia, titled the “Deep Roots” campaign.
